Wealthy middle class blacks in Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. Discussion poor blacks and rich blacks. Discussion group. Fascinating series of opinions amongst a group of about 20 black Los Angeles residents. Main point of discussion is the continuing number of blacks moving into Los Angeles, and we here 1600 black people move into Los Angles each month. Woman starts: 'As you recall in our last meeting we discussed the problem of integrated housing and we found out that almost 1700 negroes are moving into Los Angeles a month. Travel along with popular RV television host Stew Oleson as he explores the greater Los Angeles area in this segment taken from the 2006 archives of the RV Today show. Yes, you can RV in Los Angeles (if you take the right roads at the right time of day). Covering a great RV park just north of Malibu, Stew also tells you where on the beach you can walk with your dog. Then moving from dogs to hot dogs, Stew visits the famous "Pinks" hot dog stand. You can also hike just below the Hollywood sign, or go horseback riding in the Hollywood hills to Burbank and back. And finally, if you want to walk on the funky side of LA, be sure to stop by the Venice Boardwalk. From there, Stew takes you on to Disney to visit the California Adventure Park and Knot's Berry Farm. And nearby he learns all...

With thousands of acres of wildfire burn scars all over the state, authorities were warily monitoring barren slopes where parched earth soaked with rain can cause life-threatening mudslides. Torrential rain fell on the coast between San Francisco and Los Angeles near the landmark Hearst Castle late Thursday and rockslides closed about 36 miles of Highway 1 in the region. Highway crews expected to have the scenic route reopened by midafternoon Friday. A weather station in the area recorded more than 5 inches of rain. In the Sierra Nevada, the Tiog...
